The French Film Festival Returns to Transylvania: A Celebration of Cinema and Culture

From March 20 to 30, 2025, the French Film Festival, now in its 29th edition, will grace Transylvania once again, bringing a curated selection of contemporary French cinema to audiences across the region. Organized by the Institut Français de Roumanie, the festival will take place in several Transylvanian cities, including Cluj-Napoca, Sibiu, Brașov, Târgu Mureș, Arad, and Sfântu Gheorghe .​

In Cluj-Napoca, screenings will be held at Cinema Victoria, offering film enthusiasts the opportunity to experience 13 recent French productions between March 20 and 23 . Sibiu's cinephiles can look forward to a selection of films that highlight the festival's commitment to cultural exchange and artistic excellence.
