All bookings are made in accordance with the terms and conditions set below.
The participation in a package tour is subject to certain laws and regulations. Therefore, you shall enter into a travel contract with us or our partner tour operator. All the essential terms and conditions of such a travel contract are indicated below. Please read them carefully.
You are responsible for selecting a tour suitable for your fitness level. If you have any questions about a tour's level of difficulty, please ask us. You are responsible for, informing us of any medical or dietary restrictions, and obeying all safe biking rules, including all traffic regulations.
Transylvania Cycling does not assume responsibility for loss or damage of baggage, money, valuables or other items during the trip. Transylvania Cycling is not responsible for cancellations or amendments due to acts of nature, civil unrest or inclement weather.
After you choose a tour you want to join, please contact us to check availability.
To reserve your trip, we require a deposit of €200 per person for a 5 days tour or longer and €120 for a tour of up to 4 days. Once you decided on booking a tour, a reservation form will be sent to you. The Reservation Form must be completed and returned within 10 days. Based on the information completed we will send you the invoice for the deposit. The full tour price must be payed on the first day of your tour.
Both the deposit and the full tour price can be paid by bank transfer or by credit card through a secure link to pay, generated in the 3D Secure trading environment by our provider, Netopia Payments. The bank account details or the secure payment link will be sent to you by email.
In case of cancellation, please note we must receive a written notification of your cancellation. We will refund you 50% of your reservation fee if we receive the notification more than 30 days prior to the trip.
Participants are responsible for having adequate travel insurance covering accident, personal injury, loss of luggage and cancellation. Transylvania Cycling is not liable for personal injury, death, damage to property or other loss whether arising from accident, cancellation, delays or any other matter beyond our control.
