Now in its third year, the Taste of Transylvania Food Festival was hosted from September 12-15 2024 in the scenic Boroș holiday village in Lunca de Jos, Harghita. It featured exciting lineup of Michelin-starred chefs, culinary innovators, and local artisans, all coming together to offer a unique experience blending food, culture, and entertainment. Each year, the festival expands, and this edition was more dynamic, featuring culinary events, cultural exhibits, and live performances.

Attendees enjoyed a wide array of activities, including the Pro Economica event series, "Joy Cooking by Petry," and a music stage showcasing local talent. From Friday to Sunday, celebrated chefs, bakers, and sommeliers demonstrated their skills, inviting guests on a flavorful journey through live cooking presentations. Special highlights includes presentations by renowned chefs like Cezar Munteanu and Alex Petricean, book launches, roundtable discussions with industry experts, and brand activations.

Families were in for a treat as well, with activities like a cinema experience, children's games, and the "Geofolk" exhibition by Dávid Botond. There were even pasta-making workshops for all ages, held at the historic mill of the Skanzen guesthouse. A special community event—a potato harvest with exciting prizes, including an electric bicycle—added a unique twist to the festival’s program.
